Chunky Drinks (90 reviews)
Aloevine Pomegranate
Quite a departure from the flavor country that is grape Aloevine, but it's nice. It's not too strong and you don't get the bitterness that is often associated with pomegranate drinks. Plus, I mean come on, the chunks.
This is a light flavor, like a well-made juice with aloe in it. Like if you went to the store, bought mix, which was in concentrate form, not powder, and then ground up an aloe plant and put the shavings in your drink.
If you haven't had any aloe vera drinks up to now, this is a good, safe place to start. Nothing is overpowering. If you love it, you have the ability to buy the 1.5 liter bottles of it. Thanks Aloevine!

DeDe Basil Seed with Honey
First of all, look at the large image of this. The flavor tells it all. Basil seeds. This didn't taste like what you would think and all I can use to describe it is if you took a banana Laffy Taffy and rolled it around in birdseed for texture. You know what I hate? Banana Laffy Taffy. If anyone has a good gag reflex and loved banana Laffy Taffy, this could potentially be the drink for you. Otherwise I might advise you stay clear.
This trip to the Asian market is slowly ending up in a bust. I've got to go back, but I might be less adventurous next time.

Salutti Aloe Vera Getranke
I think I first had this somewhere in Texas a few years ago. No one I was with liked it even remotely except me. I loved it. I couldn't get enough of it. I finally found a store that had it in Buffalo, and I went crazy. I was drinking 2-3 huge bottles of it a week. I finally decided I needed to put an end to my madness, and I've limited the amount of it that I drink. Now I've found small bottles of it, and I'm afraid my problem is going to start up again.
It reminds me a lot of a really sweet white grape juice, without any of the weird grape acidity. It's also full of chunks of aloe, which is the greatest thing ever to me. I love drinking through my teeth, so I can strain them out, and then eat them after I swallow the liquid. If you have a problem with chunks in your drinks, this is obviously not for you. If you love pulp and the like, get adventurous and pick up a bottle.
Whenever I'm cooking and I taste something out of the pan, I always end up burning my throat and esophagus. Since aloe vera is used to help heal burns on your skin, I try to trick myself into thinking that if I drink this, it will heal my insides. I haven't been proven wrong yet.

Mong Lee Shang Pearl Soybean Drink With Tapioca Balls
As to be expected, this is pretty much sweetened soymilk. The flavor is nothing fancy. I was bummed because I didn't get any tapioca balls for the first half of the can. I was afraid it had disintegrated or just weren't added to this can. Then I got a sip that was pretty much all tapioca. So if you ever get one of these remember to shake it. For anyone who's ever had bubble tea, it's the same idea. If you're not familiar they are pretty much flavorless little gelatinous balls that add a fun little texture.

Wonderfarm Green Grass Jelly Drink
Wonderfarm has the strangest tasting drinks. The last one I had tasted like Kix cereal, and this tastes like red beans. This is 100% not what I expected at all. It is also jam packed with 1/4" cubes of grass jelly. The cubes don't really have any flavor, but they make it fun to drink. I didn't realize it was from Vietnam, but now that I do the flavor makes more sense. It's not bad. It's just unlike anything I would expect from a cold beverage. The further I got along in the can the more I enjoyed it. Maybe I'll get this again some day.

Paradise Mango Bits
This is not nearly as good as I had expected it to be. The mango flavor somehow isn't very strong. It's actually pretty acidic. It seems to be on the verge of having that post vomit burn that everyone hates in their throat. The bits of mango are nice though. They are bigger than expected. It also comes in one of those cans that have the heavy bottom. Those have always annoyed me for some unknown reason.

Kato Apple and Lemon
I enjoy chunks in my drinks. I like pulp in my orange juice, I like aloe vera drinks and for these reasons I was excited to try this. What's in it? Coconut jelly. They're gummy, too, so you have to chew it. You can swallow them whole, but I like the texture. Also, apple and lemon? Sign me up. This drink did have a little...bite(?) that you get from artificial flavors sometimes. Especially with Asian juice drinks, I feel that I get this strange tangy taste. This, unfortunately, kills my review.
I don't know why, but I think kids will like it. Kids are more adventurous than adults.
I've got more coconut themed drinks on the way thanks to a newfound Asian market.

Aloevine Grape
Look, I'm a fan of aloe vera drinks. I was a fan of Orbitz when that came out and this is like a more socially acceptable, adult Orbitz. This is one of the most sweet aloe drinks I've ever had, but I'm actually excited that it comes in a small container because prior to this, I've only seen them in giant 40+ ounce containers. That's fine, but it takes me days to drink, which is also fine. Typically, this stuff is cheap, too, like ~$1.50 for the small ones, and ~$3 - $4 for the "honkin'" ones.
Is grape good? Yeah, it's alright. It's, as stated, mondo sweet and very close to a concord grape. You can even think that the aloe chunks are actual bits of grape, but they're not.
All in all, try it. Kids might think it's cool because it's got "stuff" in it. Aloe is good for the skin so it's that whole "don't tell kids that it's good for them or they won't eat/drink it" garbage the media is pushing on us, which I could not disagree with more.

Natalie's Hand Crafted Seasonal Blends Orange Raspberry
Here is a list of the ingredients in this beverage: 1. Florida Orange Juice. 2. Raspberry Puree. It is by far the best orange juice I have ever had. I love pulp in drinks, and when the pulp is ground up raspberries my taste buds are in heaven. The raspberry takes away the bitterness of the orange juice for a perfect addition to your breakfast.

Quinoa Gold Caffeine-Free Energy Mango Passion
When I saw this intriguing beverage I was pre-warned that this was "completely gross" by a friend who had already been roped into trying it. I was feeling adventurous (and I thought it couldn't be nearly as bad as he said it was), so I decided to give it a chance. Oh how I wish I hadn't. It was extremely bland. The quinoa "supergrain" gives the nearly flavorless beverage the consistency of a grits milkshake. I'm usually a fan of pulp and other floaty things in drinks, but this was just too much. I couldn't even finish a third of the bottle. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone as an everyday drink, but if you're drinking it for the health benefits, I say good luck to you.
