Boylan's Black Cherry
Boylan!!! How do you do it? Every drink? Really? Every drink. This is the best black cherry pop I've ever had. The cane sugar keeps the flavor sharp and doesn't smooth it out like a corn syrup would. It's got a killer flavor, too.
As many of you know, I drink a lot at work. Before you get concerned about my blood sugar, I share with everyone in the office. Everyone gets a sip or two. We're like a big family here. A family that drinks together stays together. Everyone who drank it loved it. I get a pretty good varied response from the people who drink; some critical and some pretty lax, but all in all, I get varied results. This time? Unanimous.

Reed's Raspberry Ginger Brew
Reed's knows their way around ginger root. They always know the perfect amount to add to each drink. In this raspberry ginger ale, the raspberry is the driving force. At the end of each sip, the ginger grabs the wheel and takes you on a quick ride around the block. If you're looking for a quality raspberry ginger ale, put that Schweppes back on the shelf, and grab yourself some Reeds.

DG Ting Original
Have you ever been punched in the butt? Not like a joke, like a real, honest to goodness punch in the butt. Do me a favor and go to a grocery store and get four things:
1. A can of Squirt
2. A bottle of Ting. Get the original, not the pink
3. Milk.
4. Bread. Not white bread. Something like a twelve grain. You're an adult now.
Go home and open up the can of Squirt and take a sip. Not bad, right? Now turn that bottle of Ting upside down and then right side up, open it, and throw that leftover can of Squirt in the garbage because you'll never want that second rate grapefruit pop again.
I don't know what it was, but the Ting original was exceptional. Excellent real grapefruit flavor. I liked it better than the pink. I found it in a couple places but if you have a Jamaican or Hispanic market, they should have it there?
Oh, the milk and bread? You needed that.

Red Bull Simply Cola
I stayed away from this stuff for a while when I first saw it. I'm not a regular drinker of energy drinks. On the rare occasions when I do get them, I rarely stray from a select few. I have to say it's not bad. It tastes like a cola that is fighting with some ingredients from root beer. The cola is victorious in the end, but there are some strange flavors left over. The two tastes, besides cola, that stand out the most are lime and licorice. Neither is terribly overpowering, so it adds a nice subtlety to it.
The really nice thing is that this is all natural. There are no chemicals added for energy. All of the caffeine in this is from coffee beans, so it doesn't make you all crazy.

Virgil's Micro Brewed Orange Cream Soda
Upon first sip, the only word that could pass my lips was "Wow." This is by far the best Orange Cream I have ever had the pleasure of partaking in. I quickly let everyone in the room sample it. Everyone was taken aback by how great it was. It hits very crisply, but almost instantly smoothes out. It tastes like someone took the best orange soda this world has ever seen and make an ice cream float out of it. Then that float was left out for a little too long because the maker got a long distance phone call from their aunt in Phoenix, and you know how hard it is to get her off the phone. To be more specific, it tastes exactly like the little bit of meltyness that is left when you finish off an original Orange Julius.

Reed's Extra Ginger Beer
It's a ginger beer. The second sit was actually better than the first. Now that I've found Goya ginger beer, everything else is kind of put into perspective. This is more of the ginger flavored brew than just a kick in the butt. If you like the flavor of genuine ginger, this is perfect for you.
There is a longer "burn" with this drink than some of the others I've had. Perhaps it's because I just had a (rather good) quesadilla and it's the ginger annihilating or neutralizing my stomach. Thanks ginger dudes for making my stomach not hurt, not that I was in fear of it doing so.
This was the "extra" ginger brew. I also have a "premium" in the fridge which might be tomorrow's lil' endeavor.

Boylan's Natural Creme Vanilla
This is the only Boylan's drink that I've had so far that I haven't been totally psyched about. It's not even close to being bad, but my expectations were sky high due to my history with the company. It's just a general cream soda. I was expecting a crazy authentic vanilla explosion that just never came. If you like a very light cream soda, this is probably what you're looking for.

College Club Birch Beer
Who doesn't love the fair? What's the best part of the fair? Okay llama fashion shows are, but coming in a close second is the food and drinks. This tastes exactly like fair birch beer. It would be crisp and refreshing on a hot summer day. It's got that great bite that should be accompanied by fried dough. Can't you just smell the midway now?

Fizzy Lizzy Pineapple
You know how pineapple sometimes smells like vomit? Yeah this has that smell going on. If you can get over the smell, it's good. It's just sparkling water and pineapple juice. I wish it had a really strong pineapple taste, but it fades really quickly. I know Fizzy Lizzy's whole thing is that it's just fruit juice and sparkling water, which I normally love, but I wish there was just the tiniest bit of sugar added to this. I do love how the fruit sediment settles at the bottom of the bottle.

Reed's Premium Ginger Ale
This is fairly strange. It's a ginger ale made with real ginger, so it has a very mild burn. You may be saying, "Well that's not strange." Well let me finish Captain Impatience. The weird part is that it's kind of fruity. It has lemon and lime in it. The fruit that stands out most is pineapple. It has an initial ginger flavor that fades into a fairly strong pineapple aftertaste. The fruitiness and honey in it make it way sweeter than I'm used to ginger ale being. It's not horrible, but it's just not what I'm looking for in this type of beverage.
