San Pellegrino Sparkling Grapefruit
It would be unfair to call this soda, because it really isn't. I could see how someone could mistake it for soda, but in reality it's a sparkling juice; the juice being grapefruit juice in this case. Now me and grapefruit juice have an on-again/off-again type of relationship, I like grapefruit flavored things, but in moderation. I can't really stomach a full glass of the juice, but a little bit here and there or mixed with something I can handle.
Which is why I love this drink. It's only 16% grapefruit juice but in my eyes it's the perfect mixture. It’s just the right amount of sour without destroying my taste buds for weeks. San Pellegrino is good like that, knowing the perfect mix of things for their drinks.

R.W. Knudsen Spritzer Ginger Ale
I've really been getting into spritzers lately. It's such a nice light alternative to your average pop. When I was in the local co-op earlier this caught my eye, as I've also been really into ginger as well. I was really hoping for a stronger presence of ginger from this drink, but it was pretty mellow. It did have a slight hint of the burn, but it wasn't very strong. If you want a mellower ginger ale this is the way to go, if you're looking for something stronger, I would stick to ginger brew.

Switch Black Cherry
I stumbled upon this drink when stopping for provisions to go camping. Since then I've been searching high and low for it. Recently my search paid off, as I found it at a grocery store about a half hour away from my house. Switch really knows what they are doing. It's straight up juice mixed with sparkling water. Nothing else is added. If you're a fan of black cherry, I highly recommend this. It tastes like someone mashed up a bunch of cherries and then carbonated the juice that was forced from them. I'm not a huge black cherry fan myself, but it is still tasty.

Ooba Sparkling Hibiscus Hibiscus
This beverage comes in an eye appealing little bottle. I had seen it at the grocery store for a while, but didn't actually pick one up until today. I had expected it to be very lightly flavored water, but in reality it was actually very flavorful. I don't believe I have ever had anything with hibiscus in it before, and I really don't know how to describe the flavor. It was sweet and tangy, nothing like what I would expect a flower to taste like. I'll definitely be picking this up again, and I'll be on the lookout for other hibiscus flavored things.

Izze Fortified Sparkling Grapefruit
I was out of regular juice this morning, so I grabbed an Izze to go along with my breakfast. That probably wasn't the wisest decision, but I feel that grapefruit juice should complement a breakfast, sparkling or not. This is one of the less flavorful Izze's I've had. Let me rephrase that, the flavor is there a second, and gone the next. It doesn't leave the aftertaste that you expect with grapefruit. That may be a plus for some people, but I wish the taste would last a little longer.

Fizzy Lizzy Raspberry Lemon
A. Hello, my name is Jerry I will be your waiter this evening. What can I get you to drink?
B. Oh hello. Can I just get water?
A. Would you like lemon in it?
B. That would be great.
A. How about a splash of raspberry as well?
B. Really? You can do that? Well sure, that sounds good.
A. Would you also like me to lightly carbonate it for you?
B. Come on now this isn't even the water I ordered anymore. This is now a Fizzy Lizzy soda. Yes, yes I would like that.

Fizzy Lizzy Pineapple
You know how pineapple sometimes smells like vomit? Yeah this has that smell going on. If you can get over the smell, it's good. It's just sparkling water and pineapple juice. I wish it had a really strong pineapple taste, but it fades really quickly. I know Fizzy Lizzy's whole thing is that it's just fruit juice and sparkling water, which I normally love, but I wish there was just the tiniest bit of sugar added to this. I do love how the fruit sediment settles at the bottom of the bottle.

San Pellegrino Chinotto
I don't like regular San Pellegrino. I'm not a huge fan of seltzer or sparkling water. My girlfriend loves it and always asks for soda water with lemon any time we go to a restaurant. I try it once every three months and hate on it every time.
This is different. It's got a dry cola taste with a strong, citrus taste to it. It tastes like an orange rind would taste, but not like an orange juice pop might. The chinotto isn't an orange, but it's got to be from the same family as it's the same shape, color, scent, and so on.
I like this. It's different. It's very bitter and it's a dry cola taste. It's a sipping drink. A large gulp might be too much, much like eating a handful of orange peels, which you would never do unless you hated yourself.
This was recommended by a friend who told me it was an Italian favorite and an acquired taste. You can probably get it at most larger grocery stores or any Italian market.

Juicy Juice Sparkling Berry
I really should like this. It's 70% juice with carbonation added. It's right up my ally. I just don't really like the taste of the juice. It's more grape than berry. Maybe if it said grape I would have liked it more. Mislabeled flavors aren't for me.

Izze Sparkling Birch
This is really weird. First off, it makes my tongue numb for some reason. I feel like someone smeared Orajel on the mouth of the bottle. I really don't understand that at all.
It tastes like a very light birch beer. Like the ratio of carbonated water to flavor is really high. It tastes almost herbal tea like.
Really though, someone explain to me the numbing.
