Swiss Creme

Swiss Creme
There is nothing Swiss about this. It's made by Dr. Pepper, a doctor that should know better. A doctor that has a certain responsibility to tell the truth no matter how grim, disgusting, morbid, or unsettling it may be. A doctor that spent years in college in order to learn policies, procedures, right and wrong, and how to use a needle to sew someone's arm back on to their body. A doctor that can write prescriptions for things like butt rashes, bad gas, and other things involving your butt. A doctor who has the unfortunate task of telling people that they have "Barnyard Cat" kids with too many fingers. This doctor is telling you that this drink is somehow Swiss, which is isn't.

This drink is a regular ol' cream soda. It's a fine cream soda but it's nothing spectacular. That's my review of this. My review of your choice of doctor is as follows; if you have Dr. Pepper as a doctor, politely leave his office before he does something ethically wrong.

Swiss Premium Lemonade

Swiss Premium Lemonade
Imagine, if you will, you are walking down the street. It's hot. You wipe your brow. It's so hot. Why didn't you take your car? Oh, yeah, the alternator is broken. Man...so warm. Why are you wearing those sweatpants? Oh, because you just left your girlfriend's apartment and no one who goes to college wears actual pants. Wait...what? Did someone just say...YES! They did. You put your hand to your face so the glaring sun doesn't get in your eyes and you see two girls. These girls, ages 5 and 7 respectively, are asking if anyone wants lemonade. You clearly do, as you've soaked right through your older brother's old Phish tie dye crew neck sweater. You throw down a moist $1 bill and get a large glass of lemonade and chug it just like you did the night before when you slayed those freshman at flip cup.

Swiss Premium Naturally Flavored Lemonade tastes like kids street lemonade. A lot of sugar, a little bit of lemon, and perfect on a hot summers day.

Swiss Premium Sweet Tea Southern Style

Swiss Premium Sweet Tea Southern Style
There is something very particular about the way the sugar tastes in southern sweet tea, and Swiss has hit the bulls-eye. It's overly sweet, but without the terrible sickly sweet aftertaste. A lot of companies have been trying to replicate this taste, and this is one of the better versions I have had. I for one am glad that Swiss has come out with a Premium line.

Swiss Premium Tea Cooler - Iced Tea & Lemonade

Swiss Premium Tea Cooler - Iced Tea & Lemonade
I have always thought of Swiss as being the bargain iced tea that you would find at convenience stores for $1 a gallon. I had no idea they had launched a "Premium" line until a few days ago. This line is pretty much the same recipe as the regular tea, except they have replaced the high fructose corn syrup with regular sugar. It's still extremely sweet. It reminds me of the "ghetto tea" we used to drink during breaks while skateboarding when I was a kid. I think it's that nostalgia that lets me still enjoy this so much. Also, this is supposed to be an "Arnold Palmer," but it really just tasted like lemon iced tea. The lemon flavor is not as prevalent as I have come to expect in iced tea - lemonade combos.
