Fitness Edge Protein Drink Tropical Orange

Fitness Edge Protein Drink Tropical Orange
Fitness Edge knows that when it comes to protein drinks it is important to have flavors that pair well with cream. When choosing a flavored protein drink first ask yourself could I see myself eating this fruit or whatever with whipped cream on top. If the answer is no, quickly run away. There are very few things worse then dairy where it should not belong.

Well that is not really a good rule, because dairy and orange juice sounds like hell, but creamsicles are magical. The flavors just work together in soda form and they work together in this drink. It's still heavy on the whey protein, so it's a bit more dairy flavored than I would like, but it's easy enough to drink. It's thick, which is to be expected, but it's not as chalky as some protein drinks are. It's not bad, and who couldn't use a little bit of help with muscle recovery after working down at the docks all day? I have no idea why I am assuming you work on the docks. Oh wait, it's because you're wearing that little winter hat, that just barely covers the top of your head and comes nowhere near covering your ears.

Fitness Edge Protein Drink Wild Berry

Fitness Edge Protein Drink Wild Berry
I sat down at my desk while I was drinking this pondering what exactly I had to say about this beverage when my decision was made for me. I had put it down after taking a sip to open up my browser and my cat, Other Barry, jumped up and instantly started licking it. After that there was no stopping him. It was like a killer dog getting itâ…‚¬…„¢s first taste of blood. Barry needed more and he needed it instantly. I kept pulling it away from him and he kept moving towards the bottle. I covered the top with my hand and he started pawing at me to get me to move it. When I finally put the cap back on, he just started gnawing at the bottle to get the sweet nectar that was inside. Heâ…‚¬…„¢s not the type of cat to eat â…‚¬Å“people food,â…‚¬Â so Fitness Edge should take it as a great compliment.

I donâ…‚¬…„¢t know if cats taste the same things us humans do, but to me this tastes like a decent berry juice with whole milk mixed in. Thatâ…‚¬…„¢s the whey protein doing its work. I normally not a fan of protein drinks, because I think milk is gross, and whey is grosser still. The berry in this does a good job masking the whey, but itâ…‚¬…„¢s still there. That weird thick chalky aftertaste as if itâ…‚¬…„¢s starting to spoil is just not for me. Keep in mind this drink isnâ…‚¬…„¢t as bad as others I have tried, so I will give it decent marks. I mean itâ…‚¬…„¢s a drink with a certain function, so you should expect some sort of weird taste to it. Iâ…‚¬…„¢d give this a three, but Other Barry would give it top marks. Heâ…‚¬…„¢s still trying to break into the bottle.

Fitness Edge Protein Drink Key Lime

Fitness Edge Protein Drink Key Lime
Is it weird that the first thing I think of when I hear the words “key lime” is Natural Born Killers? You know a couple enters a diner orders some pie and then shoots up the place. That's a little bit of America right there, or is it? You're probably right. It's pretty disgusting. That doesn't change the fact that a movie made when I was in high school will pop into my head whenever anyone mentions this particular pie.

I don't think there will ever be another beverage made on this planet that will taste as much like a key like pie as this does. It's like ol' Mickey Knox ordered his pie, but had the nice waitress put it in the blender for say a good ten minutes. I think she may have snuck in a green freezie pop as well, because there is a bit of that flavor mixed in.

Fitness Edge hit a stroke of genius with this one. Protein drinks always have a slightly weird dairy flavor to them that is a little off putting. What better way to combat that than to make it so that the drink is supposed to taste like something that has that flavor already. Whoever came up with the idea better have gotten a raise.

Give this key lime protein drink it's day in court and see what you think about it. Me? I'm definitely sold.
