Power (3 reviews)
Rip It Energy Fuel Power
We’ve been told for years to “snap into a Slim Jim” (RIP Randal Savage), but now we’re being told to rip into some energy fuel. I say no thank you. Sure this tastes like generic liquid fruit punch sugar candy, but as strange as it is, that is not something that I really want. If this were the first energy drink I ever tried I would think that something was wrong with the can. Since I am used to the flavor I can get past that weirdness, but it’s just not that good quality wise. I guess that’s why I found it at Big Lots, with hundreds more just like it.

Wat-Ahh! Power
I feel sort of stupid reviewing these drinks, because they are essentially just water. Sure each one has a little something added for a benefit, but you can’t taste it at all. Well, maybe you could taste it if you had insanely powerful taste buds, but I assure you I only have an unnaturally strong sense of smell.
What we have in this instance is a bottle of vapor distilled water with magnesium added to it. One would think that this is some kind of energy water since it’s called “Power,” but the name is just because magnesium helps to build strong bones and muscles. The bottle says that it’s a nice change of pace from eating spinach. I say they are wrong. Spinach is delicious and I eat it all the darn time. I also drink a cubic butt load of water a day, so I guess it’s for those of us who don’t get enough of either, but yep…it still tastes like water.

POG Power
POG is one of the best drinks I've had from Hawaii. It's fruity and sweet in all the right ways. When I saw they had an offshoot called POG Power I thought I might have the world's most delicious energy drink on my hands. Like many times in my life I was wrong. Not in the flavor department, but in the fact that this is not an energy drink at all. It is in fact a sports drink. It's kind of like Gatorade and POG combined, except it's more flavorful than the prior. It's pretty good, but I see no reason for it when you can just be drinking the original POG.
