Switch Grape
Another great flavor from the Switch company. As always it tastes like they took a glass of grape juice and lightly carbonated it. It's the perfect grape soda. It reminds me of a drink you could get at the grape stand they have at the local fair. Normally when I get a beverage that comes in the smaller cans I feel like it just wasn't enough. I never have that problem with Switch. It's the perfect amount, and the flavor stays with you for a while.

Aloevine Grape
Look, I'm a fan of aloe vera drinks. I was a fan of Orbitz when that came out and this is like a more socially acceptable, adult Orbitz. This is one of the most sweet aloe drinks I've ever had, but I'm actually excited that it comes in a small container because prior to this, I've only seen them in giant 40+ ounce containers. That's fine, but it takes me days to drink, which is also fine. Typically, this stuff is cheap, too, like ~$1.50 for the small ones, and ~$3 - $4 for the "honkin'" ones.
Is grape good? Yeah, it's alright. It's, as stated, mondo sweet and very close to a concord grape. You can even think that the aloe chunks are actual bits of grape, but they're not.
All in all, try it. Kids might think it's cool because it's got "stuff" in it. Aloe is good for the skin so it's that whole "don't tell kids that it's good for them or they won't eat/drink it" garbage the media is pushing on us, which I could not disagree with more.

Monster Energy Drink Dub Edition Grape
Before I talk about the drink itself, I must mention the can it came in. To my surprise, this can has a RECLOSABLE TOP! It's this piece of plastic that turn half way around to open or shut. I must say, opening this can was really fun and I would love to open these over and over again. I love that they put a reclosable top on this because many times with large energy drinks like this (this is an 18.6 oz) I never finish the can in one sitting and it goes flat in the fridge. I wish more companies started putting reclosable tops on their cans.
As far as the drink itself, I really like it. It has a very fruity grape taste, with only a slight typical energy drink acid aftertaste. It almost tastes like if someone mixed grape soda and Mountain Dew.
According to the can, this Dub Edition energy drink is "more than just another energy drink. It's high performance fuel for the true baller."

College Club Grape
You, over there, you bring balloons. You with the hat on, you bring streamers. You two are in charge of the cake and you over there with the ugly face, bring pizza. None of that thick stuff, either. The thinner the better. Oh, me? I'll bring the pop. No Jimmy, I won't get diet pop. What, do I want to kill my friends? No, it will be grape. Yeah, dude, grape pop. It's a party isn't it? What other time would you drink grape pop? Parties are grape pop's only outlets.
This, so far, is my least favorite pop from Monroe. It's got a good initial "candy" grape taste, but kind of quickly gets a bit medicinal. It's thick, too. It also feels syrup-y. I know that's not a word and I don't care. What, am I going to use the word "viscous"? Not in this review, buddy. Lowest common denominator.

Boylan's Grape
Boylan is quickly becoming my favorite soda company. I've loved every flavor that I have tried thus far. Grape is no different. It falls somewhere between an actual grape and grape candy flavoring. Children everywhere love this drink. Their faces smeared with chocolate and candy, grasping the bottle of soda as if it were their only friend in the world, chugging away, with a small stream of sugary goodness running down their chin. Grab a bottle. Grab a kiddie pool. Enjoy.

Nehi Grape
You know what's awesome? A decent grape pop. Grape pop has the potential to be so bad, so when a company gets it right it's cause for celebration. A celebration such as a work picnic perhaps? All the adults are playing softball downing some brews while the kids are running around getting in trouble with grape pop dribbling down their chins.
Nehi is a picnic pop. It doesn't actually contain grapes, but the flavor they have created does taste more like a purple grape than it does chemical.

Hey Song Shaking Jelly Soda Drink Grape
I was going to get to this drink eventually, but Mike wouldn't shut up about the one he drank. It quickly climbed to the top of my to-drink list.
This is more than likely the strangest thing I've ever drunk. It's like someone poured a nice half glass of sparkling white grape juice, then they filled the rest with unflavored jello that wasn't completely solidified yet. So, so weird. I poured it into a glass. I didn't have to rip off the top like Mike, but it did take some effort. It looked like a gel candle. The carbonation bubbles got stuck in the jelly/jello.
It's strange, but once you get used to the jelly/jello it's really good.

Kutztown Grape
I think this company bought up a surplus of purple freezie pops. They then tried to bite them open, but realized it was futile (as we all have) and then used scissors to cut off the ends so they could dump them in a giant vat. Once in the vat, they allowed the freezie pops to melt part way and then removed the ice parts that had become white. They needed this to be concentrated. They then added the only other ingredient, carbonation. Someone had the job of putting it in these plastic bottles, and then it showed up at my house.

Bot Water Grape
Dear Bot,
I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for what I said earlier. Do you recall many years ago when I first had your berry flavored friend and I didn't like it? I was young. I don't know what I was thinking. Do you remember those ten days I had dreadlocks? Do you remember that time that I long-boarded down that hill, fell off my board, and fell head first down and scraped up my hands? Do you remember the time that Connor and I soaked a tennis ball in gas, lit it on fire, and then proceeded to play hockey in the cul-de-sac growing up? I was a very stupid kid. I did a lot of dumb stuff. This is just three of the gallons and gallons of things that I did that weren't so smart. Loving you was one those things.
I know Valentine's Day has come and gone and, once again, I have forgotten about you. I never claimed to be a good companion. I have said, "I love you, Lisa" to a girl called Sarah.
There are a lot of things that I've messed up in my life, and not drinking you for so long has been one of them. After drinking you today, I forgot that you're a borderline juice. You are light, flavorful, and actually quite good. I wish I had you on ice, rather than lukewarm, but all the same, you tasted great and will be a nice addition to my "flavored water" family. You always were just the right amount of sweet and just the right amount of fruit.
So, in closing it's not you, it's me. It always has been, and for that, I'm sorry.

FunctionALOE Defense Grape
I picked this up at my local co-op because it was being discontinued, which means either I won't be able to find it again or it's really gross and that is why no one is buying it. In either case, I couldn't pass it up. So far, my experiences with aloe drinks have been very positive. As I was shaking the bottle, I noticed the bottom was stained brown from the contents inside. This terrified me. After opening the bottle, I noticed a lot of tea like flakes floating inside. This also took me by surprise, but then the pleasant fruity (mostly grape) smell hit me. This made my fears go away, and rightfully so.
The grape taste in this is really good and tart. What I thought was tea, is actually pulp from the aloe vera. This was not only a relief but pretty delicious. I love how the tart flavor is consistent throughout the drink. It's been a while since I’ve had a good tart drink. They also had a lemon flavor of this at the co-op, I really hope it's still there when I go back.
