This...this tastes weird. I don't know what it is. It's definitely full of healthy ingredients because something that was "bad" for you would taste different. Not better. Just different. This drink tastes a lot like acai which is a primary ingredient. It's a little bitter which could be from the acai or the Stevia. I'm drinking it over and over and I can't tell whether or not I like it. It didn't mix well so I'm getting chunks of mix every once in a while. I'm not counting that against them because I might have mixed it wrong. I'm pretty sure I put mix and water together correctly. At my age, I'm pretty sure that I know how to do that.

I don't know. It's fruity but you get a little bit of a "Flintstone vitamin." You can take that how you want it. I'm still looking forward to the other stuff that they sent us. It should also be known that they have some of the best packaging we've received. Credit where credit's due.

Celsius Flo-Fusion Orange

Celsius Flo-Fusion Orange
Celsius beverages have never been known as a tasty bunch of drinks to me. The thing is that they were functional beverages that had a very specific purpose, so I tended to be a bit forgiving on the flavor side of the review. It is extremely hard to turn a blind eye to the taste of what is created when you mix this packet into water. Nothing about it, including the orange flavor tastes natural. It's as if someone powdered toxic waste and tricked me into thinking that it would help with exercising.

If this were a normal beverage I would never have made it past a sip or two, but as I said it's functional and helps burn more calories in a workout as well as give you a little energy boost for said workout. I'm forcing myself to down the whole glass before I head to the gym. It's the most diet tasting orange beverage I have ever tasted, and it really better work, because you have to suffer through it.

H2PRO Immune Health Acai Berry

H2PRO Immune Health Acai Berry
Until 5-6 years ago I don't think I had ever heard the word probiotic before. Then some yogurts started advertising it, saying they were the good type of bacteria, and that they helped with digestion and stomach issues. As someone who has suffered through stomach pain for a big portion of my life, I jumped right on that train. Do you know where that train took me? Nowheresville. Eating those yogurts that I generally thought were disgusting, did nothing to ease my pain. I guess probiotics can't do anything when the source of your pain is stress. I later discovered that if I cut out most of the corn syrup from my diet I wasn't writhing in pain every night. I don't know how that math adds up, but the pain is gone so I'm not complaining. The point in all of this is that only for the briefest moment of my life have I paid attention to anything because it was probiotic.

A few days ago some of these packets arrived at my door for review. The literature that was included claims that not only are probiotics good for digestion, but they also help with your immune system and promote healthy metabolism, by helping to absorb more nutrients. When we started Thirsty Dudes, Mike and I both swore the Hippocratic Oath of beverage reviewers to give all brings affair and impartial review (unless they contain bananas or vinegar), and to always listen to scientists because they are our betters and would never lie to us in a million, bazillion years. Keeping that in mind a doctor, who is one form of a scientist, created this and tells me it's good for me, and I am contractually obligated to believe him. It also helps that our reviews have very little to do with functionality and almost all to do with flavor.

When I opened up this packet I was greeted to a very pleasant smell. It was like my kitchen had been transformed into a smoothie shop. It's a very specific smell that is like berry ice cream, and it's delicious. Looking at the ingredients list I am informed that this is 95% stevia. That seems like a whole lot of stevia, especially since the berry flavor is so prevalent and the diet taste is so minimal. I knew there was zero sugar in here, but from the last I thought it was just berries with no added sweetener. That is how good of a job they did masking the stevia. It's a pleasant drink that I can only believe is very good for you as the scientist who created it has a higher ranking that myself, and it is illegal for me to question him. I will say that this seems like it would be a good additive for a smoothie, but that's probably just because all I can think about is getting a smoothie now, but I just ate and I don't want to leave the house. So, you know, someone bring me one.

Zobo Hibiscus Drink Ginger

Zobo Hibiscus Drink Ginger
I will say this for the hundredth time. Deep breath. Here we go:

If you are going to flavor your drink, just commit to it.

Don't say that it tastes like ginger if it's not going to taste like ginger or burn like ginger. It's just kind of annoying. This drink tasted like hibiscus which was good but only tasted very, very slightly like ginger. No burn. So sad. I saved this one for last because it should have been a treat and a half.

It's not a total loss. Like I said, it's a fine hibiscus drink but if I told anyone else that this was ginger hibiscus they would call me a liar. I can't have that on my conscience.

Zobo Hibiscus Drink Original

Zobo Hibiscus Drink Original
Why don't more hibiscus drinks exist? Sometimes you get a strange one in there but for the most part, they fill me with pleasure like a kid's first trip to a Chuck 'E Cheese or the last time I, at thirty-one, went to Chuck E' Cheese and discovered that they have French hot dogs. Oh the glee.

This is a good drink. It's teetering on the theoretical tether line of tea and juice but whatever you want to call it; it's a nice, light, floral drink. It's sweetened well and I honestly wouldn't change a thing with it. Why isn't it getting five bottles then? Hey, they can't all be golden, right? If I knew what it took to make a five bottle beverage, I would be a rich and happy man.

Back to Hibiscus Alley. It's nice in there. I only have one packet of that and it went by too fast. It's an easy mix that doesn't chunk or gross up. I really milked it, too. I have been drinking the same bottle for the last four hours and it was as if it was never a mix. The wonders of science. The wonders of hibiscus.

Zobo Hibiscus Drink Strawberry

Zobo Hibiscus Drink Strawberry
Pete loves drink mix. It's a strange thing to love but something about the manufacturing of his own drink and turning powder into a delicious drink really made him happy. He grew up drinking Tang and Kool-Aid and has graduated to drinks that are better suited for a fully-fledged adult. He recently found a company that makes hibiscus tea with different flavors. It's a powder which was his one prerequisite but it also came in original, strawberry and ginger. He decided to give the strawberry a test to see if it was up to snuff.

He mixed it in an old water bottle, gave it a couple solid, vigorous shakes and gave it a try. It passed with flying colors. It was floral like a hibiscus should be but had some of the sweetness and fruitiness from the strawberry. It tasted like a juice made from hibiscus and strawberry. It was great. It passed the test and he bought a case; an excessive gesture for something that he had one serving of but he needed a change. Now if they only made food in powder he would be the happiest guy in the world.

Vemma Bodรขโ‚ฌยขร„โ€œ Vanilla Ice Cream

Vemma Bodรขโ‚ฌยขร„โ€œ Vanilla Ice Cream
Okay, so last time I did one of these I followed directions to a T and mixed it with water. I wasn't too pleased with the consistency that gave me, as it turned out a tad on the slimy side. This time I threw caution to the wind and mixed it with unsweetened almond milk. After spending far too long vigorously mixing this up, because I didn't have the recommended shaker ball, I took a sip. Definitely less slimy, but it's still so, so thick. I'm talking like baby food thick here folks. It does not have the consistency of something one would think of ingesting. It feels foreign in a from another world sort of way. It's like aliens visited us, and said, “Hey dummies, you're doing food wrong. This is much simpler. It's thick and weird, but it gives you what you need in less time with less fuss.” Stupid jerk aliens are always pointing out our shortcomings.

Consistency aside, this has a nice light vanilla flavor. It doesn't taste cheap, like a bunch of vanilla extract was dumped in. It tastes like quality vanilla, as if real beans were used. I can see where they are going with the ice cream tag. I appreciate that they are not trying to make a health shake taste exactly like an unhealthy thing. There's some stevia in the mix, which you can taste a bit, but this is a drink for health and not leisure, so it's understandable and acceptable.

It takes a few sips to get acclimated to, but once you get over the strange viscosity this is downright enjoyable for a meal replacement shake.

Country Time Half and Half

Country Time Half and Half
Mixing this and mixing that, powder and concentrates, frozen or thawed. Everything. Who needs fruit when you can get something in concentrate? Remember when people looked at the future and they said everything would be in pill form? I feel like no one cares about flavor in the future. It's just vitamins and minerals crammed into a pill that tastes like chalk. This mix doesn't taste like chalk. It tastes pretty good. I would eat a pill that tastes like this but that would be a dumb action because I can just drink it and get some actual enjoyment. I can spend time with the flavor.

Country Time is something that we grew up with. Tea, lemonade, and I think juice. Did they make juice? I don't remember. Lemonade mostly. This is a nice mix. It doesn't really taste like a mix, mixes well and doesn't leave any unmixed remnants, and doesn't taste diet while still retaining a low calorie count. It is sour like lemonade would be but doesn't have a strong bite. It tastes like lemonade but doesn't feel like lemonade. The tea is a pretty standard sweetened tea, not a sweet tea, which is fine. Unless you're making sweet tea, you can almost do whatever you want to tea. Those are my rules and guidelines about tea.

I've had about three glasses of it and like it. I certainly hope that someone helps me drink the pitcher that I made so I don't guiltily drink the whole thing but if they don't, I can stretch it out. You stretch it out with some friends. Make a mix. Make a pitcher of mix for you and friends.

Belvoir Fruit Farms Cordial Rhubarb Strawberry

Belvoir Fruit Farms Cordial Rhubarb Strawberry
Now I'm sure that rhubarb grows somewhere in the United Kingdom, but will forever be associated with American country living to me. I can't think of a single time in my life where I was offered rhubarb when I wasn't on a farm. Goats, bails of hay, horses, barn cats and rhubarb are all grouped together for me. Oh yeah and don't forget strawberries. Is there anything better then being on a farm and plucking a strawberry from the plant and jamming it in your mouth. Oh man, the tiny ones are so damn good.

Now that I think about it all of the things I've mentioned could very easily exist in England. Maybe I just need to spend less time in the cities there and more in the rural areas. I once spent two days on a farm in Bavaria and it was one of the best experiences in my life. Everything we ate was grown on the farm. I'm talking homemade veggie burgers that were composed of fresh vegetables. Being vegetarian was never so good.

Okay, I retract my statement. I will assume this makes sense abroad, and let it be. I now wish that I had been on a farm over there whilst I was drinking this. Instead I was in a kitchen of a friend's house in Wales. It was a perfectly pleasant place to be, I had a cat and dog around me, but it didn't have the same effect as a farm.

Okay, pondering/complaining aside, this sure is wonderful. It's subtle and the rhubarb isn't over the top (not that I would complain if it were). The strawberry is very present and it's just shy of tasting like fresh fruit, which is quite a feat for a concentrate. I wish I had some bubbly water here because this would make one fantastic soda. It's more than fine with still water, but the bubbles would take it over the top. Now just close your eyes and think of goats as you take a sip.

Belvoir Fruit Farms Cordial Elderflower

Belvoir Fruit Farms Cordial Elderflower
I've looked it up and elderflower plants thrive in the United States. Why on Earth hasn't this flavor epidemic swept over us? Sure pomegranate, mango and acai are wonderful and all, but I want, nay, I demand companies start releasing elderflower flavored beverages! I don't want to have to rely on trips to the United Kingdom to get my fix, or paying ridiculous amounts of money for imported drinks. Is there some sort of conspiracy I'm unaware of that is keeping the elderflower down? Do we need to march on Washington? Was that statement insensitive? If so I apologize, I am just very passionate when it comes to this specific flavor.

As you may (but probably don't) know I am not a fan of concentrates/cordials. I can never seem to get the ratios right, even when I use measuring cups. They just never taste right to me. I like a consistency to the taste of my drinks that they just don't provide. Yes I know it's something wrong with me and not the concentrates.

The thing with this cordial is that I have experimented and no matter what ratios I put together, it tastes fantastic. I'm making it with still water, and it's not quite the same without the bubbles, but I'm not letting that stop my enjoyment. This is sweet and vaguely floral in the best possible way. I would liken it to lychee if it didn't taste like old lady perfume, but also different enough to make it mouth watering.

Get on board America, the train is leaving without you.

Belvoir Fruit Farms Cordial Raspberry & Rose

Belvoir Fruit Farms Cordial Raspberry & Rose
Man, cordials are just not my thing. I understand them, and in theory I like that I could make either still or carbonated versions of the beverage, but for the life of me I just can't get it right. You could give me a hundred attempts to recreate the companies “real” version and I would never be able to get duplicate it to my liking. Does everyone have this problem? Am I cursed in the drink mix world? Perhaps I'm just too damn picky. Whatever the reasons I tend to stay away from them.

I bet that if I purchased a ready to drink version of this beverage I would certainly love it. Making it myself I still enjoyed it, but it left something to be desired. The rose flavoring isn't very floral, which is a good thing. You still get a rose flavor out of it, but the sugar covers it up a bit so it's not screaming in your face. The raspberry on the other hand is nice and strong. This is composed of 55% raspberry juice (30% pressed, 25% from concentrate). Anything with that much raspberry is bound to be great. Unfortunately, the opposite of the rose happens with it and the added sugar makes it a tad too sweet at the recommended proportions. I tried watering it down a bit more, which fixed the sweetness problem, but weakened the flavor of the rose to a level that it might as well not have been there at all.

I apparently need more than a little suggested direction. I need the finished product plopped down right in front of me. Hell, I've never even been able to make Kool Aid correctly.

Owl's Brew Pink & Black

Owl's Brew Pink & Black
On recommendation of the generous woman that gave us this drink, I mixed this with seltzer water. Now what did I think of it. Let me think...how would you feel if someone gave you a hand-crafted tea mixed with your favorite ingredients? Huh? Tough one, right? How much could it possibly suck to have something like a darjeeling tea with hibiscus, strawberry, and lemon peel in it? Hmm. That's a good one. These are tough questions you are asking, brain. You can tell, because you're my brain, that I am being facetious…โ‚ฌลฝ because clearly it's freaking awesome.

Starting from the outside in, this is a piece of art as much as it is delicious. It comes in a heavy-duty matte black, glass bottle. You open that bad boy up and it is fruity and floral and inviting. I did what they said which was two parts Owl's Brew to one part sparkling water. I drank a glass of it without even flinching. It tastes like it smells like, and it smells how it tastes, back and forth. It is a true gift for many of your senses.

You can buy this online. I encourage you to do so. If you are in the New York City region, this can be found on shelves. It might seem like a lot but come on. Be honest. You've spent more on dumber things. This is worth it. Split it with a friend if you can't seem to make ends meet on it. You can sit and talk about how the job market blows together over your high echelon tea mix and feel like you are working that dreadful office job you don't want but if they call you back, you know you're going to take it. Hey, they've got cheap vending machines in the office, free garbage coffee, casual Friday's, and the receptionist you saw when you walked in for the interview is at least a seven. Sevens count when times are tough, man. We can't all be hanging around with dimes all the time. Got to put it into perspective.

Vemma Bodรขโ‚ฌยขร„โ€œ Chocolate Ice Cream Shake

Vemma Bodรขโ‚ฌยขร„โ€œ Chocolate Ice Cream Shake
The base behind all of the Vemma drinks is mangosteen. It's their shtick and they use it in their energy drinks as well as their protein beverages. I like mangosteen, and everyone needs a gimmick. I didn't expect it to be in this meal replacement powder, but there it is. Oh well.

Do Americans eat more than they should? I'm going to say that in 98% of cases, absolutely. I certainly do. I try not to, and most of the time I fail. I love food, even though most of the time I just eat it for sustenance, I just enjoy the process of eating for some weird reason. I find it relaxing. I also really enjoy foods that generally don't have protein (fruits and breads) so I don't feel full as quick. Now that I'm getting older and I realize that I need to take better care of myself, I'm trying to cut down the whole eating too much thing. These shakes are designed just for that. They are protein heavy meal supplements that are meant to help curb your intake of too much food.

The first thing I found weird about this drink is that you are supposed to mix the powder with water. I had a carton of unsweetened almond milk out and ready to go, and when I checked to see how much to use I saw that it said water, which resulted in me going “huh.” In my opinion the water makes this a bit strange. It causes the drink to become slimier than creamy and smooth, which is what I expect from these types of drinks. It seemed that in every sip the water was fighting to separate itself from the powder. Even though I mixed the hell out of it, it did not want to work as a cohesive unit.

Flavor wise it tasted like a watery chocolate drink. The chocolate flavor was pretty decent and it didn't have that gritty protein drink texture, nor the protein taste. It also did a good job mostly covering up the taste of the stevia. I can see where they get the ice cream name. It tastes a bit like a melted ice cream come made for diabetics.

I wasn't completely blown away by this, but I didn't hate it either. I'm not really who this is marketed towards, because I'm not battling my weight, but I think it could be very beneficial to those who are.

Madrat Elixr Tropical Berry

Madrat Elixr Tropical Berry
I don't know what they were working on at the National Institute of Mental Health, but things seem to have gone awry. The scientists there were using rats as test subjects, but something happened and the rodents gained incredible intelligence. Before long they were performing their own experiments while the humans were away. Led by their leader, the newly proclaimed “professor” Jonathan Frisby, the rats developed a powder that would make them stronger and even more intelligent. It works by improving mental clarity while being full of anti-oxidants. There was no sugar in it, and most importantly for the little fuzzballs, it supported joint health.

The rats had nearly perfected their formula then disaster struck. The humans came in to make up hours on the weekend. The rats scurried back into their cages, but they did not have time to collect their formula and the scientists discovered it. They assumed it was something another team was working on and for some reason ingested some, because you know that is what you do in a laboratory where you test things on rats. They discovered that when mixed in water the powder had a berry flavor that kind of also tasted like grape. One of the scientists boldly stated that he could taste the stevia in it, and it was goon to see that nothing artificial was used in its creation. They agreed that it was pretty strong, even when watered down a lot. Also, one of them pointed out that it didn't really dissolve well in the water. No matter how much they stirred it some of the powder congealed into a sludge like substance at the bottom of the glass. When they tasted it, it was like an intense diet Pixie Stix. Since there was no label on it to denote what team created it they decided to steal it for their own and sell it as a energy drink mix that had additional health benefits.

Man, were those rats pissed. Some would say they were mad…โ‚ฌยฆehhh? While they wallowed in their defeat two of the smaller rats conferred in a corner. When one asked what they were going to do now, the other responded with “The same thing we do every night, Pinky …โ‚ฌโ€œ try to take over the world.” Several animated classics were based on these real life events. Sadly all of the rats diet due to other experiments and their famines received no royalties.

Shakeology Chocolate

Shakeology Chocolate
I don't understand it, honey. Sammy just refuses to eat vegetables. I don't know what to do. I've taken away videos games, dessert, television, and his bike and he just won't eat them. What did you buy? A milkshake? Honey that sounds like a reward more than it does a punishment. It's got what in it? I don't know what any of that is. Ashwagandha? Cordyceps, Tulsi, Sacha Inchi, Spirulina? Are you just reading a Dr. Seuss book to me? You're making these words up, right? You're not. What do they do? They're healthy? Well I guess that's good to know. Now it's a milkshake. Isn't there a ton of sugar in it that's going to get him to bounce off the walls? Oh, it's made with Stevia? That's cool. Well I guess it all comes down to taste. How does it taste, honey. Oh, you made some? Thanks.

Honey. This...this isn't bad at all. I mean I can taste that something is up but our kid, let's be honest here, he's kind of an idiot. Right? You agree with me. I mean, who doesn't just eat vegetables and takes punishment after punishment. Peas never hurt anyone and corn is fantastic. Kids. Am I right? Can I have more of this? Yeah, I was worried that this would just taste like a gritty mess like protein drinks do but it actually tastes good. You made this with eight ounces of milk? Oh wow. That turned into like double that. Cool. He'll feel like he's getting a real treat but in reality, we're poisoning him with healthy stuff.

When he gets home we'll make him something like a hamburger with a side of green beans just so he thinks nothing is up and we'll serve it with this milkshake. He'll think he's pulling one over on us by not eating the green beans and just eat the hamburger and drink the milkshake. Never thought it would come to this but if I have to trick my dumb son into eating healthy, so be it. He'll learn when he's 300 pounds and constantly sweating like your uncle Larry. Yeah, I said it, honey. He's constantly sweating. Like you didn't know.

Swiss Miss Dark Chocolate

Swiss Miss Dark Chocolate
Bunny, when you're done flirting with that ski instructor please meet me in the lodge for some hot chocolate. You weren't flirting? Then I'm guessing that piece of paper you gave him didn't have your phone number on it and had something like directions to the nearest Dairy Queen. Right. I'm sure, Bunny.

I got you and iced tea. Sit. Let's talk. How was that Green Circle you did? Well you're learning. You can't jump up just yet. It might seem boring but it's all about fundamentals, my dear. Aren't you going to ask daddy how his black diamond was? It was fine. Nothing like the one I did in Aspen last autumn but it's adequate. I saw you fall a couple times but you're learning. What did they teach you at that ski camp we went to? Pizza and french fries, right. Well, no, we don't eat pizza or french fries. Those foods are for a lower echelon than us. I got us some dark hot chocolate. I'm sure it's not as good as the stuff we drank when we were vacationing in the French Alps but it's better than nothing.

What do you think of this, Bunny. The view, the quality of the snow, the hot chocolate? You like it? Concise. I like it. This hot chocolate is good but leaves a bit to be desired. I suppose it's the same as the regular hot chocolate with the smallest possible amount of dark chocolate added to be able to call it a "dark chocolate" hot chocolate. It's good but would be nice if it had a bit more of that dark chocolate flavor. Remember when Hans made it for us and he melted down Swiss dark chocolate on the stove and mixed it with heated milk? That is what I wish this was but you can't expect that luxury everywhere, I suppose.

Well darling. Shall we get back out there? In an hour or so your mother will be back from shopping with an armful of bags and a new fur coat. Honestly, I've already had to have a separate closet built just for her fur hats, coats, and scarves.

True Grapefruit

True Grapefruit
Sometimes, when you are in “fancier” settings, there will be a pitcher of water with an array of fruits and botanicals floating in it for your drinking pleasure. The idea is that the water absorbs trace flavors from the content floating within to give the drinker a nice little treat. I am personally a large fan of such refreshments. During my time in Hawaii our hotel had such a dispenser full of oranges and pineapple. There is also a nice little juice bar here in Buffalo that has been known to have basil leaves floating in their water picture; it's quite the treat. Such a little thing can go such a long way in making your day just a tad bit brighter.

By adding a packet of True Grapefruit to a glass of water, you are essentially skipping the actual fruit step in this process. The glass before me most certainly tastes like it was dispensed from a great glass urn full of the most plentiful liquid on Earth that has had giant chunks of grapefruit floating in it all day. It is impossible to mistake the flavor of this citrus fruit, yet the flavor is faint with no trace of bitterness. It has become flavored water, in the truest sense. There are no sweeteners or anything of the sort added. It is simply cold pressed and crystallized grapefruit that has been absorbed by the water. This is by far my favorite in the True line.

Tim Horton's Cappuccino English Toffee

Tim Horton's Cappuccino English Toffee
If bakers know one thing, it's that measurements count. "Heaping" is not a word that bakers use. "Heaping" is a work that cooks use. Learn how to measure, cooks. While making this drink, I was ordered by the Canadian Government that is Tim Horton's to use three "heaping" teaspoons to water. This drink is weak. Weak, son. Get that weak stuff out of here. I am not completely penalizing them because I could have just added more stuff but when I follow directions to their ranged rate, there is clearly room for error since "heaping" is a variable amount.

What does it taste like? It tastes like cappuccino that you might get from a gas station but not as good. Something about those crappy gas station blends are good. It's just that it's so much like an adult hot chocolate that it borders on just a mockery of coffee related drinks and pure, unadulterated garbage. As for the English Toffee, eh, I guess if you left a Heath bar in a crappy cup of cappuccino that it would taste a bit like this so that is a pass. This whole drink is a pass. If this were a graded class, it would be a C+. It would do better on a pass/fail scale where everyone is either one or the other with no quality, just pass or fail.

True Lime

True Lime
Let us start a petition to get lemons removed as the standard for flavoring water in restaurants. Lemons are overrated. They are low on the totem of citrus. I'm not exactly sure what is at the top; maybe blood oranges. Oh man, a nice slice of blood orange in your water would be fantastic. I am a realistic man though, and I know that's never going to happen right off the bat. Lets take baby steps and start off with limes. They are of close relation to the lemon; they even look the same, except green. I know they will still carry the same gross bacteria from improper storage and preparation, but at least it will taste a bit better.

If you're wondering what it would be like, because you don't understand how your imagination works, mix a packet of True Lime into a glass of water. It's pretty much the same thing as squeezing a slice of the actual fruit. Who needs imagination anyway?

There are trace amounts of cane sugar in this for some reason. I'm 99.9% sure the True Lemon doesn't have that, and I'm not exactly sure why it's in here. It doesn't taste sweet, but it gives me the illusion that this is the world's most watered down limeade. I just don't understand why it's necessary. Let the citrus do it's work, without assistance. It has to learn some how.

True Lemon Original Lemonade

True Lemon Original Lemonade
In the era of the diet obsessed 80's Crystal Light reined supreme. For those of you who don't know it was/is a flavored, artificially sweetened powder that you would mix in with water to make your very own “healthy” drink at home. While they have come a long way in recent years, the original flavors tasted like poison to me. It was just one big pile of diet grossness.

The True company is following in the same footsteps, except they decided to make their product from 100% natural ingredients. Instead of sweetening them with aspartame or sucralose they opted for stevia. While that has made a world of a difference with their other drinks, I don't think this lemonade ever stood a chance. Lemonade by definition is sugar sweetened lemon juice and water. If you deviate from that at all things start falling apart. The flavor of the stevia is far too overpowering in this to an extent that it's a little hard to make out the lemon flavor. Instead of tasting like lemonade it ends up resembling a creation that was brought to life by some cheap skate teenager at a local Dennys. I've been there before, in my formative years. You order a water with lemon and then put sweetener in it to create your own dull version of lemonade. The problem is this particular restaurant had stevia packets instead of sugar and everything just went wrong.
