HKK Aloe & Yogo Peach
Just look at the color of this stuff. It looks like the milk left over in your bowl after eating some Franken Berry cereal. It's crazy.
It's a mixture of aloe and yogurt, so I expected it to be really thick, but it's not much thicker than your average aloe drink. It also doesn't taste nearly as sweet as the coloring would denote.
I know this sounds stupid but it's like a milk bubble tea. Except the tapioca balls are switched out for aloe chucks and the tea is switched out for aloe juice.
I wouldn't drink this on the regular, but I would like to try other flavors of it.

Fever-Tree Premium Ginger Beer
It's a deep burn! It's so deep! I can barely lift my right arm!
While Ron Burgundy wasn't drinking ginger beer in that scene, he probably would have said the same thing after drinking some of this. I knew i was in for a good ginger beer when there was a good amount of ginger settled to the bottom of the bottle. On top of that, the 2nd ingredient in this is ginger root, not ginger extract like a lot of ginger beer uses.
So like I said, this burn is strong, and lasts a long time. Even after you take a sip, you can still feel it burning inside your stomach. My lips are even a little tingly. This is definitely the most intense ginger beer I've had in a while. Even though the bottle is only 6.8 oz, it's hard to drink it in one sitting. It has a decent taste on top of the burn as well.
Now if you will excuse me, I have to drink a gallon of water to put out the fire in my stomach.

Bundaberg Ginger Beer
A friend of ours got this shipped over from Australia for us. I can't say how glad I am. This is one of the best ginger beers I've ever had. It doesn't have much of a burn, but it totally makes up for it in flavor. It's also carbonated with yeast, which is a nice change. It says to invert the bottle before opening to help mix in the pieces of ginger that are in it. You can see them when you hold it to the light, but they aren't big enough to notice while you drink it.
In addition it comes in a super rad bottle. The weird pull top cap is amazing. I like when beverages are fun like that.

Reed's Cherry Ginger Brew
I put off drinking this for a while because I was expecting it to be super sugary cherry pop with ginger in it, which sounds terrible. I should have known better and put more faith in Reeds. This is a really good ginger ale, made with real ginger root. It's just lightly flavored with cherry juice concentrate. It's not random sweetness labeled cherry at all. There's an ever so slight burn from the ginger, but nothing that would bother a normal drinker. Do yourself a favor and grab a bottle.

Bolthouse Farms 50/50 Tropical
This is one of Bolthouse's combo fruit and veggie drinks. I expected it to be an equal separation with 4 fruits and four veggies, but it's 5 different fruits and a whole mess of carrots. It's nice the fruit is still the strong flavor, but you get all the health benefits from the carrots like x-ray vision, and being able to talk to rabbits.
It's not my favorite Bolthouse flavor, but it's still pretty good.

Hansen's Natural Cane Soda The Grove
Get on a plane and ride it to the Caribbean because that's where you will want to be after taking one sip of this stuff. I think that this would be best drunk at the coldest it can get before it freezes. A strange thing to say, I know, but mine is cold and I am loving it. It's a smorgasbord of fruit flavors and I can't really put my finger on any other than lemon and lime, but it's not a Sprite or 7Up by any means. It's very sweet, but very good. I could see myself buying this again without a doubt.
This is a limited edition flavor, which means if you see it get it. It taunts you when you put the drink to your mouth because it's very strong in the citrus department. You'll like it.
I don't know why my picture looks like I airbrushed it. Think of it as a 90's hair metal video. Everything had a soft edge on it and I don't know why.

Silk Light Vanilla
Although I very rarely drink a glass of this, it is my go to soymilk to put on my cereal. The vanilla isn't so strong that it's more powerful than the actual flavor of the cereal, but it's there enough so that when you do have a glass of it, it doesn't just taste like soy. I can get behind it. Regular milk is so gross. I just can't do it. That means soy and Silk wins out.

New Leaf Mango Green Tea
I had never really had New Leaf until recently. My only question is "What was I waiting for?" It's really great tea that is now one of my favorites.
You know how sometimes you know what kind of sweetener they used in a drink just by tasting it? Well the cane sugar is crystal clear in this. You can just envision the grains of sugar dissolving on your tongue. Cane sugar is just the perfect sweetener for green tea. They compliment each other perfectly. The mango flavoring in this isn't too over powering either. It's definitely there, but it doesn't take away from the taste of the green tea.

Flavur Red Orange Guava Hibiscus
I got this on a recent trip to Toronto. I got it to drink while I was walking around, but then I got caught up in a bubble tea fiasco, and this bottle remained in my bag until I got home.
I really like anything I have ever tried with hibiscus in it. It has a light flowery taste, yet it's still always sweet. This also has a great blend of orange and guava flavoring. Both are obviously present without either one being too strong.
I'm not really one to drink small bottles of juice like this. I usually buy the large bottles/cartons and keep them in my fridge. When I'm on the run, I almost always grab an iced tea. This is something I could see as a "take to work" kind of drink.

Blue Sky Natural Soda Cream Soda
This is a damn fine can of cream soda! It's exactly how i like my cream soda: light and creamy. Since it's made with sugar (instead of high fructose corn syrup), it's not overloaded with a sugary taste. It may have been just my perception being off, but this can seemed to be carbonated way more than I'm used to. I was burping after the second sip. While it's not the best cream soda I've ever had, it's definitely in the top 10.

Romano's Italian Soda Marionberry Lemon
Even though I have an extreme hatred for Ray Romano, I still really enjoyed this beverage (which I assume he has absolutely nothing to do with).
It really tastes like something you would order in a coffee shop. I mean let's be honest coffee is disgusting, so why order that at a coffee shop, especially when you have bubbly fruity goodness to chose instead.
I learned something new today when I learned that marionberry is a type of blackberry and not just the former mayor of DC who was arrested for use and possession of crack cocaine. Yes, he still won future elections with the slogan "He May Not Be Perfect, But He's Perfect for D.C."

Wegmans Water Lemon
This is my second lemon drink of the day. No, it's not favoritism like those seven years I took tae-kwon-do and was treated like crap because I wasn't as good as the best kid in the class. That was awful. Sure I leaned manners and respect and how to break boards, but I also learned about favoritism, which was a hard and long-lasting lesson to learn.
Go to a restaurant. Any one. Get a glass of water and ask for it with lemon. If they don't do it, where are you going? Seriously, everyone has lemons. This tastes just like it but you what you don't get? The seeds from those lemons that you vigorously squeezed because you love lemon water so darn much. This is just nice. Would I buy this again? Yes. Is it a lazy man's "glass of water with lemon in it?" Yes. Do I care? Not when I want lemon water and I'm in a crunch for time.

Hey Song Sarsaparilla
This is really weird. It's kind of like a normal sarsaparilla, but not quite. When it first hits your taste buds, it tastes like a budget root beer. Then a complete different flavor hits you. It has a "woodsy" flavor to it. It's kinda tastes like the root beer Mike and I made a few months ago, well before we carbonated it and it tasted like complete butt. I'm not a fan of the first flavor, but the second wave is pretty darn good.

Boylan's Lemon
At first, you think to yourself "Lemon pop? What's this all about?" and then you take a sip and realize, wait a second here, there is lime in this, too. It's good. Crisp. It's defiantly lemon and lime but different than Sprite and 7Up. It's a bit like the Pop Shoppe Sparkle Up pop we had a while back. It was nice. Not too sweet and not at all syrupy as it's made with cane sugar. This would make a great summertime pop.

Cawy Quinabeer
This is our 300th review. That's pretty crazy. I'm glad it's on a great drink like this as well.
I still have no idea what Quinabeer is. I expected it to be some sort of root or ginger beer. It was neither. What it is is incredible. At first it reminded me a lot of Cheerwine. Then a friend described it as a cherry cola, if cherry was the main flavor with just a splash of cola added. That is definitely a more accurate description. It also makes sense since both this and the Cawy Champ's Cola both have champion George Prince flexing on them. It's just great. It tastes like being a kid.
In addition to the flavor, how cool is the can? It looks like new old stock from the 70's. I love it. All of the Cawy drinks that I have seen have a similar feel. Pretty great.

Boylan's Orange Cream
This is a pretty standard orange cream soda. It tastes like a creamsicle. It doesn't have as strong of a vanilla flavoring as some other brands do. It's more of an orange pop with a little something extra thrown in, as opposed to a cream soda with a little orange in the mix. It's still a bit creamy, but just not overly vanilla.
The "orange" flavoring in this comes from mandarin and tangerine oils, so they got that going for them.
Don't get me wrong. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this drink. The problem is that after drinking the Virgil's Orange Creme Soda, I have a whole new level of expectations for this category.

Oogave Mandarin Key Lime
When I get a soda that is supposed to be fruit flavor, I expect it to be the dominating flavor. This, sadly, was not the case this time. I am a big fan of mandarin oranges and key lime flavored things, but this barely tasted like that. While the lime taste was there, it more tasted like a lemon lime soda with a hint of mandarin orange. It's not that it tasted bad (because it was good), it just wasn't as much of the mandarin key lime flavor that I expected it to have.

Goya Malta Original
I used to hate this stuff. Hate! With a fervor! Hate! Now I'm a little bit older and my palette that has been trained to have more distinguished tastes.
This tastes like raisin bran. Just like it except possibly more sweet. This was the original version that is made with cane sugar and honestly isn't as bad as I remember.
I would not drink it again but I am not giving it a bad review. Not my taste but it's a good drink. I'll admit it.

Mong Lee Shang Mango Juice Drink
I came in to work today and the lovely and talented Kristin Merz stopped at her local Asian market and picked me up this Mango juice drink. Yes, there is nata de coco in it, but there isn't a lot. It's not like a lot of the other ones I've had where there is an abundance of little squared, gummy goodness. This drink had but a few little dudes but the mango juice was actually really good. There is actually a small bit of mango chunk in there, too, but nothing to really write home about. It's not a puree or a smoothie, just a juice, but a good juice. Personally, I think it's an all or nothing gig with nata de coco. Either put a lot in or don't put any in.
This is a excellent juice and I urge anyone who is 10% adventurous to go down to their local Asian market and get a can.

Honest Ade Cranberry Lemonade
Finally, light lemonade that doesn't want to assault my senses like a pack of dogs getting thrown a steak. I prefer my drinks not too sweet and sometimes just plain watered down. This drink is not too sweet, not too sour, not too anything, which makes it just right for me. It kind of tastes like it was pretty sweet when you bought it at the theme park and it was filled with ice and now that the 87 degree weather has done it's damage to those little ice cubes, it has lost some of it's punch and you're left with a nice, calm drink.
