Cocozia Coconut Water Chocolate

Cocozia Coconut Water Chocolate

Take a walk. Talk a walk on down to Coconut Town, USA where we have the finest in different flavored coconuts. You thought you added flavor to make coconut water taste like raspberries. Boy, you're as dumb as you look. No, son. They grow coconuts in different flavors. Take this tree here. This here tree grows the finest black cherry flavored coconuts you've ever seen. This here tree grows lemon flavored coconuts. That one? You want to know about that one? Well you've got a keen eye because this here is our best seller. This is the allusive chocolate coconut tree. It naturally makes the finest chocolate coconut milk your dry mouth has ever tasted. Let me have one of the boys cut one down for you to sample.

What do you think of it? It's good right? Oh, you don't like it warm? Yeah, it is a bit chalky. Here, let me have the missus get you some from the fridge. Here you go. There you go. It's nice, right? Nice, light coconut flavor and a nice chocolate flavor. No, it's not thick. It's not totally like a chocolate milk. You would think describing something like a "watered down chocolate milk" would be gross but it's not bad. It doesn't have any sort of gross fake sweetener taste and just tastes like what's in it. That's why you're here boy, for the good stuff.

So how many cases can I put you down for, son? None? What do you mean you just want directions to the Holiday Inn Express? You've been down here sampling the goods just to be polite? Well I guess I can't fault you for that. Here's one for the road and if you go down a couple blocks you'll see your hotel on the right just after the third gas station and before the ninth taco stand. You can't miss it.

Wild Harvest Coconut Water Chocolate

Wild Harvest Coconut Water Chocolate

Remember when you were young and you would make chocolate milk from the Hershey powder that came in a tin. No matter how much you mixed it in that powder would never fully dissolve in the milk and it always seemed like it was chocolate and milk and not a complete cohesion of the two? Well this is the coconut water version of that. I’ve had chocolate coconut water that tasted like it could have come right off the tree in that form, but this tastes like two separate thing that just happened to get put in the same can. Lucky for us they are two enjoyable things and they don’t ruin each other at all. I enjoyed this, but it feels like they rushed to get it to market and didn’t make it as good as it could have been.

Coco Joy Coconut Water Strawberry

I bet Baymax would encourage his patients to drink this. Sure, he's kind of the spokesperson for the drink and has a little weight in the game, but between his dedication to well-being and his cigar smoking, ill-fitting suit wearing, slicked back hair having, bad breath having manager, they're pushing this product hard.

Say you break your arm and Baymax is around. He would ask you what your pain is on a scale of frown to smile. Then he would offer you a sucker. If you said that you were allergic to suckers, he might analyze you and say that you did not indicate that you were lying since no one is allergic to suckers. Then he would offer you some of his custom branded coconut water in which to refresh you. He would endorse this because it's just coconut water and strawberry flavor. Bare essentials. He's a bot of health. He's not going to give you something that would hurt you. That's not very health bot of him.

Purity Organic Coconut Water Organic Mango

Purity Organic Coconut Water Organic Mango

From great juice to great coconut water Purity Organic has you covered. While it is easy to screw up a juice, most coconut water is pretty standard. Unless it’s something deep in the fancy end of the spectrum most coconut waters taste pretty much the same. There is something about this coconut water that is a bit different. I know this isn’t the right word, but it tastes more fiberous. It’s as if you can taste the shell of the coconut in this more than other brands. It’s not a bad, nor a good thing; it is simply an observation.

The use of mango puree gives this a nice fruity kick that will make your hydration taste just that much better. I’ve met humans that don’t like eating mango (I’m looking at you Mike), but I’ve never met one that does not like the taste of mango. When in doubt go mango, you can’t lose.

Harvest Bay Coconut Water Pineapple

Harvest Bay Coconut Water Pineapple

For decades of my life I was denied the joys of the pina colada. My hatred of coconut ran so deep, that I dare not even try this delicious mixture. Why no one ever told me that toasted coconut and coconut water taste vastly different I will never know, but those people owe me a whole lot of this stuff to make up for lost time.

If I have learned anything from movies and other media it’s that this is the taste of paradise. It’s what everyone is constantly drinking in tropical locations. I completely understand why. It’s extremely refreshing and it tastes wonderful. On top of that, whenever I drink some it gives me a relaxing sensation. It’s like I’m in a hammock in the shade of some trees on a beach just listening to the waves. What other drink gives you that experience?

This has a nice pineapple flavor that perfectly blends in with the coconut water. It’s also sweetened by palm sugar, which I have never tried before to the best of my knowledge. Even the sweetener is tropical with this drink. I need a vacation.

Coco Joy Coconut Water Natural

Herbert loved to travel. He especially loved to sail. He was on a trip to Thailand and was sailing around when his boat hit some coral and took on some water. He docked at the closest island to investigate what could be the problem.

He tied up his boat and started to look around at the damage. A tall man approached him with a package and said, "This is for you." Herbert looked inside and there was some rice, vegetables and a can of coconut water. He sat down on the dock and ate and it was very good. He especially liked the coconut water. It was different than the coconut water he had in the States. It was sweeter but still unsweetened. It was clean tasting and didn't care about the heat like some other coconut waters he had.

He repaired the ship and was about to sail off and the tall man came back. Herbert thanked him and asked where he got that drink from. He said that his brother works for the factory a couple miles away and he gets to bring home cases occasionally. Herbert shook the man's hand and thanked him for his hospitality. Boat accident and all, Herbert had a wonderful time in the sun on an island making new friends, eating great food and enjoying a new drink he was sure to buy more of.

Harvest Bay Coconut Water Dark Chocolate

Harvest Bay Coconut Water Dark Chocolate

I believe there is a point in every person who has somewhat working taste buds when milk chocolate loses its allure. Something about it isn’t as magical as when you were younger. You don’t exactly know what it is that has changed, but something is different and you are none too pleased. Then after decades of thinking it was gross and inferior you find yourself eating some dark chocolate and your love affair begins anew. You realize that this bitter, semi-sweet snack is what chocolate was meant to taste like and anything else is just a perversion of perfection. Christ, that sounds like some garbage white power rant there, but I assure you people and chocolate are two very different things.

After this metamorphosis in life whenever you see the words dark chocolate on a product and excitement builds. The thing is that the process of making dark chocolate into a liquid fit for drinking isn’t quite the same as a version whose main ingredient is milk. It’s very easy to lose the certain pizzazz that gives dark chocolate its allure, and I’m afraid Harvest Bay didn’t quite capture it. There is still enjoyment to be had with this beverage, but it falls in a grey area where it doesn’t quite taste like coconut water nor does it full taste like a chocolate drink. It’s floating in an in-between realm where chocolate has a slightly fruity taste to it. I’ve been here before and I can tell you it’s not where I want to be. For me it’s either go heavy on the chocolate, or leave it out altogether.

Harvest Bay Coconut Water Iced Coffee

Harvest Bay Coconut Water Iced Coffee

Recent studies suggest that coconuts kill five times more people than sharks. In an effort to curb these nauseating results, Harvest Bay went back to the drawing board and decided that they would mix their coconut water with iced coffee so that you can be faster and have more pep in your step so that you can avoid those pesky falling coconuts. Sure, they had to do a lot of testing and kill a lot of test subjects but they were murdering thieves so, you know, who cares? They would give them regular coconut water and throw coconuts at them. Then they would give them coconut water with iced coffee and they were faster for longer to help them avoid those dreaded coconuts.

The felons that lived described the coconut water with iced coffee in it as "Still pretty coconutty" and "lightly coffee'd." Criminals love to make up their own words. It wasn't sweetened but still had a pretty genuine coffee and coconut taste. The coconut was stronger than the coffee but nonetheless, a pretty decent drink.

Thanks to the criminals that will earn a gold star and an extra day out of "The Hole" before they have to go to "The Chair." Everyone wins.

Pearl Royal Coconut Water Lemon Lime

Pearl Royal Coconut Water Lemon Lime

In a world where flavored beverages are overly heavy on the flavor, to an extent that the taste of the base is lost, it’s nice when a company takes it easy on the old flavor tasters. Pearl Royal does just that with this delicious coconut water. There is but a hint of lemon and lime flavor. I wouldn’t be surprised if they stumbled upon this when someone didn’t properly rinse a glass that has been used to house some sort of lemon lime beverage and then refilled it with coconut water. It’s such a minor addition of flavor, but it goes a long way in making your refreshment experience just a tad different. Oh yeah it also comes in this awesome container, so that’s a bonus.

Purity Organic Coconut Water Original

Purity Organic Coconut Water Original

I'm not a betting man but if you asked me ten years ago if you should invest in coconut futures, future Mike would say that you should. Previously only known as a topping for ice cream and a filling for Mounds and Almond Joy, now it's everywhere. Everywhere includes the homebase of one of our favorite juice companies, Purity.

Problem with all these coconut waters is that the point of it is to just have 100% pure, clean, unaltered coconut water. What does that do to the drinks? It makes them all the same. Coconut water is turning into orange juice and apple juice where it all tastes the same. What does this taste like? Oh, it tastes like if you cracked open a coconut with a machete and dumped it in a cup. Well what does that one taste like? It tastes like if you broke open a coconut on a rock and poured it into a cup. How about that one over there? It tastes like you put a nail into it, pulled the nail out and put in a straw and a little umbrella.

This is good. It's clean and crisp. It's clearly naturally sweetened and there is nothing in there you would second-guess giving to your kids, although I don't know any kids that would rather drink coconut water than, say, chocolate milk. That is a crowd pleaser. Coconut water? It's fine. Just fine. This? It's fine.
